The Office of Research Cyberinfrastructure empowers UCF researchers with advanced computing, cloud environments, high-speed networking, robust research data pipelines and artificial intelligence resources. Through hands-on technical expertise and access to local and national cyberinfrastructure, the team delivers secure and scalable technology solutions that accelerate discovery, strengthen research competitiveness and expand institutional capacity.
Service Desk & Graduate Business Services
The Service Desk & Graduate Business Services team provides unified IT, technology, and operational support for the College of Graduate Studies and the Office of Research (8 am – 5 pm ET). The team delivers Tier 1 service desk support, manages technology assets, software licensing, and departmental infrastructure, and supports graduate education systems through ERP administration, reporting and analytics, and custom application development that streamlines business processes and enhances operational efficiency.
Research Administration Systems and Business Services
The Research Administration Systems & Business Services team provides strategic leadership for UCF's electronic research administration (eRA) ecosystem, including the Huron Research Suite and related enterprise platforms that support the full research lifecycle. The team drives system modernization, business process improvement, governance, and organizational change management while aligning stakeholder needs, compliance requirements, and technology investments to advance institutional research goals and improve the researcher experience.
Data Analytics and Strategy
The Data Analytics and Strategy team delivers trusted research data and business intelligence solutions that support informed decision-making across the university. Through the Research Data Warehouse (RDW), enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics, the team provides actionable insights, performance metrics, and trend analysis while maintaining strong data governance, security, and compliance with institutional, state, and federal requirements.
