The eRA Programming and Infrastructure team develops and maintains electronic Research Administration solutions and performs upgrades, backups, performance improvements, and integrations.
The GRIT Service Desk provides 8 AM – 5 PM frontline support for the ORC’s (including offsite groups) department-level IT needs and support for all research ERA systems.
The Business Services Team performs a variety of activities supporting all major service areas in the GRIT group, from design, analysis, testing, and training for systems, to project planning and consulting for current and upcoming fiscal years, to supporting management of the business and administrative functions for the GRIT group.
The Reporting & Analytics team collects, integrates and stores UCF Research and Commercialization and College of Graduate Studies enterprise data in a data warehouse and provides reports and analytics to UCF research community, and administrative units.
University wide restructuring of Research Administration business processes and technologies to support Principle Investigators and the UCF Research Enterprise (joint project between ORC, F&A, and UCF IT).
MegaData, a data warehouse project, to construct a centralized location for research data that does not directly affect production sources and puts data into the hands of business partners.
Slate is a multiyear project that will enable UCF faculty and staff to review program prospects, review applicant information and make admissions recommendations in one place. Slate will replace three homegrown systems: the Online Application for Admission, the decision system known as GWIS, and Prospect Inquiry.
